A broker: “Great” vs “Ok”? (Why we Rock)

If you ask someone what makes them great at what they do, what’s their answer?  Some may say it’s their skill, or their knowledge.  Others might say it’s their experience.  Many others merely claim to be good at what they do. At Alterra Realty Group, our primary focus is service, and our service makes us great.   We’re in business to close transactions, but we can’t do that without clientele & repeat business.  Buyers, Sellers, Landlords and tenants alike will not come back, or will go elsewhere, if we don’t stand out.  Good doesn’t stand out; great does. In the ever shrinking sea of licensed real estate professionals, our focus remains the transaction. In our years in real estate, we’ve found that many brokers and agents dance around the transaction.  They’re happy to sign it up, happy to see it close, but when it comes to riding along and actually working the deal so that it closes, they step back.  At Alterra, our agents are involved every step of the way, be it the process of sorting out properties, coordinating contracts with the attorney(s), helping arrange for due diligence, introducing professionals we know, running documents or even babysitting a building while it’s inspected. Our clients range from novice investor to institutional owners – but regardless of the buying and selling volume, every client is treated the same.  Buying, Selling or Leasing, we’re there to see the transaction through.  Our bottom line is satisfaction.  If we don’t satisfy our clients we won’t receive referrals; the majority of our new business.
